I. Overview of Beijing Safari Park
Beijing Safari Park is located on the banks of the beautiful Yongding River. It is a national 4A-level scenic spot that integrates the breeding and training of wild animals, scientific research, popular scienceand leisure tourism in one. It is a national 4A-level scenic spot.

2. Introduction to the exhibition area
Beijing Safari Park is 42 kilometers from the city center and has more than 80 themed animal fields and pavilions.The park is divided into three major animal-viewing areas: the self-guided tour area, the walking tour area, and the wild animal experience area.
1. Self-guided tour area:
The self-guided tour area officially opened on May 1, 2015.It covers an area of more than 1,200 acres, with a 10-kilometer tour route and seven major animal exhibition areas, displaying more than 60 species and more than 800 animals.There are two ways to explore the self-guided tour area: by car or by train.Animals live in a natural environment that has been preserved in its original state, creating a unique “animal and natural landscape” that can be viewed 360 degrees without obstruction.You can experience the original and authentic natural animal world from Asia to Africa, from grasslands to plateaus, during a self-guided tour throughout the day.Enjoy the wild charm of the wildlife.
2. Walking tour area
The walking tour area has an elegant environment and is rich in oxygen.The overall design emphasizes an open concept, with more than 30 animal pavilions featuring novel designs, diverse viewing angles, and visual accessibility.It brings people and animals closer together, increases contact between them, and reflects the intimate harmony between people, animals, and the environment.The walking tour area also features animal training, bird behavior training, and large animal behavior demonstrations.While watching the show, visitors can experience both the fun of interaction and the excitement and thrill.
3. The Beast Experience Area
The Beast Experience Area has eight exhibition areas, featuring eight kinds of beasts and animals and more than 100 animals in total. Each exhibition area is designed with a theme based on the animals’ natural habitats. The animals live in an open natural environment, and visitors can ride on environmentally friendly amphibious animal-shaped sightseeing vehicles to feed the animals and experience the ferocity and excitement of the carnivores while personally feeding them.This area recreates the animals’ natural habitat with steep terrain. While riding in the sightseeing vehicle and viewing the fierce animals up close as they cross mountains and rivers, visitors can fully experience the dynamic visual sensation of the integration of humans, wild animals, and nature.
4. Wonderland
Wonderland is Beijing’s first animal-themed children’s park.The tour area is divided into themed exhibition areas such as the Slow World, Long Long Tongue, Mengbao Kindergarten, Jungle Hospital, Big Big Ears, Aquatic Animal Exhibition Area, and Dinosaur Mountain.Each exhibition area is named after the prominent characteristics of the animals on display and recreates their real living environment, so that everyone can experience the animals’ real living environment first-hand.The animals here are not divided into families or regions, and most of them are gentle animals with high ornamental and interactive value. Visitors can participate, interact, experience and be entertained here.
