Visitors can learn about the origin and development of the universe and gain astronomical knowledge through activities such as watching high-tech movies, observing the observatory, and visiting exhibitions. The planetarium is an important part of Hall A. The hall has a 23.5-meter-diameter dome, with advanced equipment that realistically reproduces the approximately 9,000 stars visible to the naked eye on Earth, giving the audience a real starry sky experience. Hall B has three astronomical theaters: the Space Theater, 3D Theater, and 4D Theater, as well as various popular science and educational facilities such as the Astronomy Exhibition Hall, Solar Observatory, Public Observatory, and Astronomy Classroom.Among them, the Space Theater with a radius of 18 meters has a standard hemispherical full-dome screen, which can simultaneously present a magnificent three-dimensional sky effect for 200 spectators, which is unique in mainland China. The 4D Theater not only can present lifelike three-dimensional images, but also create various effects such as water jets, wind jets, and leg slapping, to bring you an immersive and fantastic science popularization experience.
