China Beijing Nanluoguxiang

Nanluoguxiang is located in the heart of Beijing. It is a hutong that combines petty bourgeois sentiment with the charm of old Beijing, and is also one of Beijing’s fashion landmarks.It is home to many small shops with literary and artistic characteristics, as well as a wide variety of snacks. Food recommendations

Nanluoguxiang is famous for its food, including Wenyu Cheese Shop (No.49 Nanluoguxiang), which specializes in original cheese,double-skin milk pudding and sour plum soup are its specialties, and there are always long queues.Guo Ke (Nanluoguxiang 108) and Su Mo (Nanluoguxiang 106) both serve creative pizzas with unique flavors. Guo Ke’s lamb kebab pizza, Su Mo’s Kung Pao chicken pizza and Peking duck pizza are all excellent.Here, there is no corn juice (Nanluoguxiang 145) sold, but it is full of corn juice.

Specialty stores

After eating, you can take a stroll through the specialty stores to burn off some calories.8 Plastered (No. 61, Nanluoguxiang) is a must-visit. The owner is the humorous British man Johnson Hai from the TV show “Job Hunting”. The store sells<T-shirts.Some shops are interesting just from the name, such as the clothing store Belly Button (Nanluoguxiang 53). It’s fun to take a photo of the name and share it with friends.

Ancient buildings in old hutongs

Turning into the hutongs on either side of the main street, there are far fewer tourists, and the old housestell the history of old Beijing.There is the Prince Gong Mansion from the Qing Dynasty; the former residence of Wanrong, the last Empress Dowager; and Keyuan, which imitates the architectural style of Jiangnan gardens. Unfortunately, most of the buildings cannot be entered for a tour, and can only be viewed from the outside.
