Introduction

The appearance of the Great Hall is very spectacular. The building plan is in the shape of the Chinese character “mountain” with doors on all sides.Around the building, there are more than a hundred tall, round corridor columns, and many Chinese people are impressed by the way the columns are aligned.After buying a ticket and entering the interior of the Great Hall of the People, you can visit the various halls that are open to the public. Here you will find the venue for the meetings of the National People’s Congress, which you often see on TV, as well as the venue for talks with foreign guests. The Golden Hall and the 10,000-person Great Hall are the most famous, especially the 10,000-person Great Hall. The dazzling ceiling made up of red five-pointed stars and numerous lights is familiar to almost every Chinese.
