China Beijing Sanlitun

Sanlitun is located in the central and western part of Chaoyang District and is named after the three li (Chinese unit of distance) from the inner city of Beijing.As a place name, it generally refers to the area enclosed by Zuojiazhuang, Chaowai Street, Hujialou and Maizidian.After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Sanlitun area began to be developed into an embassy district, and it gradually developed into an important community for diplomatic personnel stationed in China, shopping, and hosting foreign affairs activities.
