The scenic area is now divided into two main parts. One is the museum, which displays the living conditions and development history of the Peking Man through text, pictures, fossils, bones and numerous cultural relics excavated from the site. There are also movies and interactive games that can be visited and played.
The other part is the ruins park, which is just behind the museum. It is a small hill, and along the way you can see some cave ruins, and you can look into the cave entrances to see the environment in which the primitive people lived. In addition, the scenery along the way is also very good, with small canyons, waterfalls, etc., as well as an observation deck at the top of the mountain, all of which can be explored. The whole journey takes about 1.5-2 hours.
