Introduction
Wulong is a rare geological wonder tourist area with three natural bridges and typical karst landforms. It is also the location for the movies “Curse of the Golden Flower” andTransformers 4.The scenic area is located in Xiannvshan Town, Wulong County. Visitors usually buy tickets at the Xiannvshan Town Visitor Center and then take the environmentally friendly vehicles provided by the scenic area to get to the scenic area.
Three bridges and two pits
Wulong Tiansheng Three Bridges are made up of three natural stone arch bridges: Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridgeand the Black Dragon Bridge, which are all natural stone arch bridges.The three bridges span the Yangshui River gorge, with the span of the stone bridges and the distance from the bottom of the gorge both being more than 100 meters.The three stone bridges connect the mountains on both sides of the canyon, creating a unique landscape of “three bridges sandwiching two pits”.The pit sandwiched between the stone bridges is also called a “sky pit”.
Tour route
After entering the scenic area, visitors can take the sightseeing elevator to the bottom of the valley (the elevator fee is included in the admission ticket) and then walk along the quiet path at the bottom of the pit.At this time, looking around, you will see lush greenery everywhere, with streams flowing; looking up, you will see cliffs dropping thousands of feet on all sides, with mountain springs rushing down from above.
Movie scene
In the sinkhole near Tianlong Bridge, there is a Tang-style building called Tianfu Inn, which was the location for director Zhang Yimou’s film All Over the Town
The inn cost tens of millions of yuan to build.It was also the location in China for Transformers 4, and there are still models of the movie’s mechanical monsters in the scenic area.
Take an environmentally friendly vehicle to Longshui Gorge
After your visit, you can walk to the scenic area exit. There is an uphill section along the way, or you can take an electric cart to the exit.At the scenic area exit, visitors can take an environmentally friendly vehicle back to the tourist center in town, or take an environmentally friendly vehicle from here to continue exploring the nearby Longshui Gorge (you need to purchase a ticket for the gorge before you can take the vehicle there).
