Hongyadong Folk Customs Area is a great place to stroll along Shancheng Old Street, admire the scenery of the two rivers, and taste local delicacies.Hongyadong Commercial Street is located on Cangbai Road in Yuzhong District, on the riverside where the Yangtze and Jialing rivers meet. The Hongyadong Folk Customs Area is made up of four parts: the Zhiyanhe Bar Street, the Tiancheng Lane Bayu Style Street, the Feast Food Street and the Exotic City Balcony. It is dominated by the stilt houses with traditional Bayu architectural features, which follow the contours of the mountain.using mountain building techniques such as tiered platforms, stilts, staggered stacking, and cliffside construction, the buildings come together to form a scene that can be called a sight of the mountain city.

Entering the Hongyadong Folk Customs Area, you will be surrounded by densely packed stilt houses on both sides.There are as many as 11 floors, from the riverside road at the bottom to the Cangbai Road at the top.Each floor has a different content, with restaurants, a snack street, bars and cafes, and local specialty shops.The top floor is an exotic city balcony that can be reached directly by elevator.From the viewing platform, you can see the confluence of the two rivers in the distance, and the scenery is endless.
