Chongqing Longshui Gorge Seam

The Longshui Gorge, formed by mountain-building movements tens of millions of years ago, is a typical karst geological wonder with steep walls and a deep gorge. Here, you can experiencethe fun of traveling underground.The fissure is located in the territory of Xiannvshan Town, Wulong County, and is very close to the Tiankeng Scenic Area (Tiansheng Sanqiao), which can be visited on the same day.

Most tourists start at the Xiannvshan Town Visitor Center, visit the Tiankeng Scenic Area, and then take the shuttle bus from the Tiankeng Scenic Area exit to the Difen Scenic Area (you need to buy tickets first). You can also go directly from the Visitor Center to the Difen Scenic Area.The canyon is 5 kilometers long, with a 2-kilometer-long section that can be explored. It is made up of three sections: the entrance, the cave in the middle, and the exit.The canyon varies in depth from 200 to 500 meters, with cliffs on both sides reaching up to the sky and sheer rock faces.The valley is full of dense primeval forests, with waterfalls and streams that are unending and magnificent.

Take the scenic elevator to the mountainside, then follow the steps on the mountainside down to the bottom of the ravine, and follow the rushing underground river. Along the way, there are sometimes waterfalls spouting down and flowing into the underground river at your feet.The sides of the canyon are lined with jagged rocks, and if you look up, you can only see a sliver of sky.Walk slowly along the plank road on the mountain wall and pass through the cave area.The cave is full of stalactites of various shapes and is beautiful to behold.Continue walking and you will arrive at the canyon exit after a series of twists and turns.

At the scenic area exit, you can take a shuttle bus back to the tourist center in Fairy Mountain Town, which takes about 20 minutes.
