Zhu Jia Jiao Ancient Town is located in Qingpu District, Shanghai, close to Dianshan Lake Scenic Area. It is a typical ancient town in the Jiangnan region, with elegant surroundings and a network of waterways crisscrossing the streets and alleys.The town has attractions such as garden monuments, as well as many traditional specialty snacks and petty bourgeois shops. Zhu Jia Jiao is a small town, and you can explore it on foot in about half a day.After entering the town from the south entrance, you will first come to Zhuxi Garden and the Humanities and Arts Museum.Zhu Xi Garden is a small and exquisite garden that is now open to the public for free.The Humanities and Arts Museum is a modern white building with a unique shape, which records the local history and culture of Zhujiajiao in the form of oil paintings and sculptures.

As you stroll slowly along Beida Street northwards, you will see several small bridges with unique and different designs on the right, such as Yongfeng Bridge and Taian Bridge. Across the river is Caog¹È Street, where various attractions such as the Daqing Post Office, Wang Chang Memorial Hall, Chenghuang Temple and YuÉÖnjØn Zh½Çn S×ã are located along the river.In addition to the attractions, there are also many small shops on the street, including the famous Mao Tian Kong City Bookstore.
On the right side of North Street, there is a bridge spanning the main river channel, which is Zhu Jia Jiao’s famous Life Release Bridge.After crossing the bridge and arriving on the other side of the Caogang River, there are still small waterways crisscrossing the area, with petty bourgeois shops and various snacks scattered along the river.The Ke Zhi Yuan Garden is also located within the attractions of Zhujiajiao.
