Tianjin Haihe River

The Haihe River runs through the city of Tianjin and is the mother river of the city.The two banks are Tianjin’s bustling neighborhoods, which also house many elegant historical buildings. A romantic mix of the Western and Chinese styles, the classical and the bustling, the scenery is truly beautiful.It’s a great place for strolling, sightseeing and boat rides, and the night views are especially enchanting.

The highlight of the Haihe River is the area between the Tianjin Eye on the north side and the Daguanming Bridge (near Xiaobailou) on the south side. It may take a whole day to walk and explore the whole area.Along the way, there is the romantic beauty of the Tianjin Eye, the folk charm of the Ancient Culture Street, the exotic atmosphere of the Italian Style District, and so on. What is especially worth seeing is the many buildings on both sides of the Haihe River. Many of the bridges over the Haihe River also have different shapes and are very beautiful.

The night is a good time to view the Haihe River. The scenery is very beautiful when the lights are first turned on on both sides. If you want to take night shots, I recommend several places such as the Tianjin Eye, the Jin Tower, the Tianjin Gate, and the Tianjin Railway Station.Alternatively, you can take a cruise along the Haihe River.
