Introduction

Yangliuqing is a famous historical town in northern China.Yangliuqing has a long history, a profound cultural heritage and a wealth of folk art.

Yangliuqing is rich in folk culture.The town has a theater building, a memorial archway, and Wenchang Pavilion, which are known as the three treasures of Yangliuqing.During the Qing Dynasty, there were more than 40 famous Chongwen academies and ancient temples in Tianjin, and the remains of the Puliang Pagoda, Baoen Temple, and Baitan Temple still exist today.The Shijia Compound, known as the “Number One Residence in North China,” is also located in the town.These cultural relics, together with the quaint Qing Dynasty streets, quadrangle courtyards, and ancient canal scenery, form a picturesque picture of Yangliuqing’s simple customs.
